A Note from the Winemaker

Balance and harmony, seemingly simplistic notions, yet nature alone is uninhibited by its own constraints. For the rest of us, let’s be thankful we have wine! On our Eastern Shore farm, nestled between Maryland and Delaware, we proudly grow a handful of varieties common to the Bordeaux region of France. We also grow varieties that have become popular in our Mid-Atlantic region we call home. We pay attention to a lot of details. We use our heads, our hearts, our hands to grow the grapes, to attend to the land, to take care of each other, and to make some noteworthy wines. We know that we can never be perfect in our relationship with nature, but we hope that you will enjoy the fruits of our labor, and perhaps find a little balance and harmony of your own.
